The poll should be multi option, I voted for centre but depending on the issue I lean to the right/left, I don't identify with any party and often find myself voting for the independants so as to use my vote but not make it count if that makes sense

I considered that cos I wanted to select 2 too, but then I thought I could just work out my average sort of opinion on all topics.

I think as a person, I'm centre left, but I vote in elections more central.. I voted centreleft in the poll

I remember taking a test that I was shown by a friend that shows where you stand on the political spectrum which I was able to find again now:

It's very similar to the last time I took the test (I think I was like a grid or two more to the left and possibly also a grid higher from what I can remember). But centrism or slightly left & slightly libertarian is about what I'd expect so this thing is probably pretty accurate.

https://www.politicalcompass.org/test For anyone else who wants to take it. A bit lengthy for an online test but doesn't take long.

I'll try and find it

I tend to have more left policies because I tend to find that I'm quite progressive in my thoughts rather than just having the status quo for the sake of it, and I tend to find that left wing ideology is more positive in it's approach compared to the right and as I don't consider myself a negative person I could never fully get behind the right which always wants to cut everything, bitch about Immigration, bitch about the EU etc it's just not my style.

However it's not to say that the right doesn't have a place in society as I do agree with them that business is important for the country's Economy, just not to the point of making working class people barely being able to keep a roof over their head. And a competent right wing party that is reasonably tough on law & order (especially the major crimes) and a party that's tougher on Immigration so that we don't have our resources run dry is a good thing in my book.

they say one thing to another, they pretend to be more caring but in the end they bankrupt the country and the gap between rich and poor was the biggets for 200 years. so they are ultimately total fakes and frauds.

FFS are you actually talking about New Labour 1997-2009?

New Labour?

New Labour which was a right-leaning authoritarian-inclined party...

...the exact opposite of a "lefty liberal" party ...???

I think you need to stop saying "lefty liberal" and "loony left" Truth, you don't seem to have an accurate grasp of the political compass at all. You think that Blairs labour was left and liberal. wut.

I've always voted Labour and it's labour in Cardiff. However not so sure about Corbyn. Like some of his views, don't like others. Don't see him as much of a leader. That said i don't like that bloody theresa may either, she looks like a witch. R.

No matter what people think of Corbyn he at least can answer questions and he feels like a leader.

Where as Theresa May doesn't seem like she has a clue on how to run the country other than trying to send it back to the dark ages.

Looked at the results of this and lo and behold the lefties have it on here.

Said so myself on a previous thread only to see smug comments along the lines of 'I was having a laugh' as SD was full of the far-right. Point proven I think.

Well for one, bizarrely, the heavily right leaning posters seem to self identify as centrist more than right. I'm not sure what that is all about. Secondly, over 30 people have voted on the poll and there are not as many as 30 regular SD posters.

Imagining that every regular has voted, and with there being only three "right leaning" vote, I can only assume that at least 5 members are lying to themselves because off the top of my head I can think of at least 6 to 8.
