Have you heard of a white guy approaching a mother and spitting in a baby's face - I haven't. Racism does work both ways but I have never heard of anyone targeting a baby like that.

I've never her and of any adult spitting in a child's face before so that's pretty much irrelevant to the race issue. I did however see a video less than two weeks ago, of a white "gentleman" (apparently a lawyer) drunkenly spouting racist abuse at a woman and her son on a train, and swearing / being abusive directly to the child.

I'm not really playing tit for tat though, this is about abhorrent individuals and their race doesn't really or shouldn't really come into it. Which is precisely why it sort of passes me off that this thread - from the way the OP was set up - was quite clearly intended as an anti-immigrant point scoring exercise. Tacky.

Absolutely disgusting and both of these incidents are in another league to most incidents. Was the woman obviously pregnant which would assume he actually intended to harm her baby.

I am not saying that in any way minimises his crime, he could have potentially seriously injured or killed the woman, but to actually murder an unborn baby like that is off the scale.

Yes it is terrible, I don't know is the answer to your question though about if it was obvious if she was pregnant or not, it doesn't say how far along she was in the article.

But anyway, they're both awful crimes and imo, no matter what race the perpetrator is things like both this one and the one in the article should be come down hard on
