Hi forum

Today's question - Margaret has said since I have joined the forum she has lost her husband as I'm always on my phone and that I'm like a teenager. She said she should sign up . I said no because it's not her kind of place .

She isn't angry but think it's funny that I'm "like a teenager on my phone ." The question is : would you be comfortable with your other half being a member on the forum ?

I'd say no. Get enough of her in real life ha ha . R.

I would not mind, lots of people join post about ten times then leave and never come back.
Like anything in a relationship if you spend too much time doing it, your partner will feel left out.

I usually like all your posts Ronald, but how very dare you say that 'It's not her kind of place'? I realise if you've been married a long time, you wiull know her very well, but it's still her right to check out the forum for herself and see if it's right for her.
To answer the question, I'd be okay with my other half signing up. I'd be interested to see if his little foibles annoyed others as much as they do me.

Sorry if offense was caused . What I meant was that she doesn't enjoy forums or talking on the Internet to people even her friends . She's not even on Facebook . No disrespect to anyone intended. R
