Sandra's idol play
 This F5 is awesome in terms of star quality, character strength, and just the general storyline of the season. Villian-come-hero Sandra  ... Supervillian Russell...strategic queen Parvati...breakout star Jerri...and Colby can be the posterboy for old-school Survivor I guess?...

****ing awesome season! Definitely one of the best. Whilst it potentially lacked stand-out or groundbreaking moments, it is just the character dynamics and storyline from beginning to end that really make this season. Honestly, nearly everyone came out likeable.
What a far-cry from AS this season was. It's actually quite bewildering? This season was just so much more of a perfect mix of everything you want from a Survivor season. Heroes vs Villains: Jerri Danielle Sandra Parvati Boston Rob Tom Sugar Courtney Randy Candice Stephenie J.T. Amanda Cirie Coach Colby Rupert Tyson James Russell I really appreciated Jerri this time. I just think she's a lovely person, but she didn't have the game to win. Again, I appreciated Danielle so much more this time. She's actually pretty funny, and I liked her standing up to Russell and fighting Amanda for the idol. Sandra also improved. Didn't care for her as much as most seem to in PI, but she really became one of this season's biggest heroes. Parvati is a great player - I think I finally got her this time. It's funny to think how far she came from CI. I like Rob. >>>>Russell. I loved it when Tom stood up to James. He really shone as a good guy. Courtney was disappointingly irrel this time  . Her best moment was calling Jeff 'Jeffrey'.Candice was sooo much better this time. She came into her own and showed she was actually an intelligent respectable woman. Randy, Stephenie and Sugar all should have lasted longer. Amanda is okay, but she's just dull, and didn't deserve to play again I've never been that big on Cirie, and this time didn't change anything. She's really entertaining and a great player, but she just has an air of arrogance, and her affiliation with Amanda etc kinda turned me off her in FvF. Coach grew on me. He really showed a more sensitive side this time. I liked Rupert for the most part, but he got annoying in his last few episodes. James sucked this time. Guess he latched onto his own hype? Need I say anything about Russell? I'm glad he got his comeuppance. WTF is he playing at at reunion. Last edited by TomC; 09-03-2017 at 12:13 AM. |

My favourite season, i felt jealous you were watching it for the first time. It was my first season I watched which was like 2 years ago.

Just started Ep 2 and the only question I have thus far in Nicaragua is: why, in the 'All Survivor Intros' video, is a nice unique version of the theme tune used, but in the actual episodes it is just the Borneo theme? I'm not complainin' though, it's pretty cool having the original theme back.
I liked Wendy, wish she'd stayed. |

Fabio really sucked towards Alina saying 'this is why people don't trust you and think you're dangerous' just because she was playing the game and winning in a way that didn't suit him
