okay, episode 1 initial thoughts:

- What was up with Neda hugging the vets then assuming it's an international season instead of introducing herself to the newbies? I feel like she's gonna have the biggest fall from grace this season. I mean during my rewatch of BB2 I realised she was the weak link of the Jon/Heather/Neda/Adel group cos she's essentially just a strategy bot but in female form. She totally believes her own hype and it's not cute.
- Karen is absolute GOLD already and I hope she lasts. Literally every time she's on screen she's a hoot. Like a modern day Lori Olsen. I have high hopes for her.
- I kinda really like Emily already. I think she's a lot of fun and y'all have been sleeping on her since pre-game.
- Whatever the Sindy/Ika beef is I wanna see it and I pray it brings a hitch in the inevitable Vet alliance.
- I'm not giving up on Mark as a character. His VT seemed horrifically painted into things the producers obviously wanted him to say so I'm giving him a chance beyond the jock/showmance based VT.
- I'm more excited to see Dallas return more than anyone else. Shoot me.
- The twist of someone automatically reaching jury is clearly just the beginning of the inevitable rigging that BBCan will bring for the vets. I mean I loved it for the Fembots in BBCan3 so I'd be hypocrite if I was against it but just... the rigging in BB13US made the season a bit exhausting to me and I wouldn't be surprised if this season had the same effect.

I'm not really sure if I liked the premiere or not. It felt quite lackluster in comparison to the others I've watched, like, even BBUS did the returnee thing better than BBCan in terms of making the concept appear exciting.

It definitely has potential though, and I'm quite excited to see what the feeds are like. I'm already living for Karen, and I'm so glad Sindy is safe with an S.
