Thoughts on this? The Police woman is getting an awful lot of hate on FB but I have to say I hate when people pick the daffodils that are planted by the roads and in public places. They look so lovely there. I would be one of them parents who told my kids not to pick them when they were younger
![]() A father has filmed the moment he confronted a police officer after she confiscated daffodils from his daughters. Rosemary, ten, and Emily, five, had picked the 27 flowers to give to their gran and mum on Mother’s Day, however, were told they were breaking the law. Their dad, David Taylor, 31, decided to film the incident after he became incensed with the way the situation was dealt with. He can be heard protesting in the video that the flowers were taken from public land but the officer claims he had ‘committed a criminal offence’. The carpenter was on the way to visit his mother when his daughters picked the daffodils from the verge near Berryhill Park in Mansfield.
