Secret children story lines are always shocking and seem like a good plot at the time but they always leave a stain on characters afterwards I think.

I've always thought Kat being Zoe's mum has somewhat held the character back at some points on the show - although it was an incredible story line when I watched it on YouTube and way out of Shirley being Mick's mum's league.

I disagree that whole episode to me was when Jessie showed she was capable to be a main player in the soap and she has kept proving it over the years
