And this is the news out of Syria. http://www.syrianow.sy/index.php?d=35&id=165772

A UN independent commission is examining reports that the US-led coalition has bombed a site in Deir al-Zour that the Syrian authorities say was a chemical storehouse, UN Human Rights Council spokesman Rolando Gomez said on Thursday.

The Syrian army announced earlier in the day that the coalition forces launched an air strike on the headquarters of the "Da'ash" terrorist in the area of Hatala Deir al-Zour on Wednesday, causing the deaths of hundreds of poisonous inhalation, a week after the town of Khan Sheikun chemical attack Killing 87 people.

The General Command of the Syrian army said in a statement that "the flight of the so-called International Alliance yesterday between 17.30 and 17.50 hours on the implementation of an air strike, targeting the headquarters of the" Da'ash "terrorist, including a large number of foreign mercenaries, Deir al-Zour was formed by a white cloud turned yellow, turned out to be the result of the explosion of a huge warehouse containing a large amount of toxic substances.

Propaganda. Quick let's deflect so the gullible world thinks we aren't poisoning our own people. Any cost to win. Why would anyone feel the Syrian army is particularly truthful?

I'm just dropping in some news from other sources. Who are we to decide which news is propaganda and which isn't?

It sounds like you have made up your mind... I haven't.

I'm fairly certain I know who I believe and it's not the guy who has been bombing his own people for several years because he won't let go of power. The chemical stuff is horrible but those barrel bombs are pretty loathsome too. And let's face it, Russia always lies. It's never them who were involved in an innocent airliner being blown out of the sky, the annexation of an independent people, or the bombing of civilians. I've a little more faith in the west who often actually admit when they are wrong or make a mistake.

Hmmm maybe we should watch Corbyn far closer than we are.

I think the US are flexing their muscles to send a message to a few leaders of the world who have started to think they are running things and can do what they like without any culpability. I don't believe anyone wins a war but I think the US are currently speaking the only language the likes of Putin, Assad, and North Korea understand. That's a tragedy all round but so is good men doing nothing and bystanding while people suffer. Let's hope against hope that a little flexing of US might will reign them in. The alternative is unthinkable.

I completely agree Jaxie. America would have been equally criticised, by those with an agenda, if they had done nothing - damn them if they do, damn them if they don't. Good men have to do something. Of course there will be those who spout on about ulterior motives but to do nothing would be much worse.

And you believe the American government doesn't lie? that Trump doesn't lie?

America lied to us when it said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. It didn’t invade Iraq and dispose of Hussein because it was misled, it invaded because of ‘American ideology’ and it was prepared to sacrifice thousands of NATO soldiers as well as kill over a 100,000 Iraqis before turning Iraq into a chaotic dust bowl.
The same happened with Iran in 1953, in Afghanistan in 2001, in Asia, Cuba, Puerto Rico the Philippines Africa, Libya and Vietnam. These CIA military attempts to overthrow governments are endless.

Trumps lies are endless, the U.S government lies are endless and ‘Western Civilization’ fully support those lies and every lie the US uses is duplicated throughout Europe, Australia and Canada. Then here we all are shouting, kill the fnckers, nuke the bvstards.

Yes, yes, lets all believe the propaganda hype against him too! though what he's got to do with this topic is somewhat baffling.

We are the invaders, not Russia.

America and its allies have been flexing its muscles over Muslim rule for far too long and all it causes is, political instability and terrorist blowback. I condemn imperialism and that’s exactly what this is.

How can America claim its safeguarding liberty when it approves illegal torture, commits war crimes and created mass genocide in Libya, Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen and Syria. This is about empire building… ‘divide and rule’ and forgive me, but I'm no cheer leader.

I'm predicting that the US is planning a strike on NK.I think it's going to happen soon.Kim Jong is going to test another nuke soon.If he does that on Trumps watch I believe the US will start launching Tomahawks. They are positioned for it.I firmly believe this will happen.

Ffs, no-one is saying the West are perfect, but they don't brutalise, terrorise or murder their own people. They don't stone young women to death for daring to stand-up to the system. Whatever the West's faults, and there are plenty, they don't have the complete lack of human rights of the Middle East.

I don't pretend to be an expert on the Middle East but like most I am aware of their appauling human rights' record. I also seem to recall that when we went into Iraq many Muslims there were begging the West to intervene and get rid of a murdering dictator. The Middle East creates its own dictators who sometimes need to be removed, as much for the sake of the helpless people they torture and murder as for the political interests of the West.

Yes we were lied to about nuclear weapons, and most regret the loss of our brave men and women as a result, but what is done can't be undone. None of that however puts the West in the same league as the dictators of the Middle East, neither does it excuse terrorism. There is no comparison.

I think this too. Was this a test shot before heading into NK with the big mama?

Do you think that's why America has got involved?

Trump has welcomed el-Sissi and the Saudi king with open arms, if America were concerned about human rights, why didn't he start with those two monsters?

Funny that we only really hear about the government murdering and torturing its citizens when we want to invade. There are countries the world over that murder and torture prisoners but we only hear about the ones with oil supply lines.

I think it very much puts us in their league and it doesn't excuse terrorism but causes it. They see us as terrorists and that's why they try to terrorise us.

Its just one big bomb instead of hundreds of smaller ones.

The plan to use this bomb has been around long before trump.
The world is at war right now.

They terrorise because they see us as a threat to their controllling and terrorising regime. They fear our intervention might release women and others from their intimidating, terrorising vice-like grip on the country. It is all about self-interest and control - everything you accuse the West of.
