Neither. I like what I like without consciously thinking that it must be mainstream or quirky.

Sometimes it just happens to be mainstream, sometimes it just happens to be unpopular/less mainstream.

But I hate those who look down on/hate things purely because it's mainstream. Like, what's the point?
