Ireland like the lilting more gently performed songs,Data romping home ages ago with 'all kinds of everything ' also Johnny Login and 'What's another year' to name just 2.

Clearly the UK entry whil
e being better than maybe other years,didn't strike a chord with Ireland,so no votes,which Ireland are perfectly in their rights to not give if they weren't keen on the song and/or performance.

I don't think Ireland has a "type" of song, and those two mentioned were from decades ago
