Trust me I know what racial abuse is I've spent most of my childhood being told every last story of what it's like for a Jamaican to come to England in the 50s and I can tell you know what you see in this thread is not racial motivated it's a bad tasted joke at most

It is clear he wants attention and everyone is giving it him if he was ignored he would disappear

You're saying because the scarecrow is black it is a gollywog which are racially derogatory dolls, that is because they do not represent how a black person really looks and the image mocks black features. But when creating a white scarecrow it doesn't have to fully represent white people's features and is therefore not a racially derogatory image. So what I am saying is because you would not say that a white scarecrow is offensive because it does not look like a white person then why should a black scarecrow be racist as it also does not look like a real black person.
