Ignore what? They took Abbott's comments and lied about what she had said, as well as used the anti-terror legislation stuff to suggest Labour are weak on security, despite the fact May, Davis and others in the cabinet also voted against such legislation.

Conversely, the PM's slashing of police numbers as home secretary despite being warned it would make us less prepared for a Paris style terror attack (quelle surprise), should be brought up at every single opportunity.
