Corbyn stated yesterday that he had full confidence in Abbot and he previously stated that the shadow cabinet would be the cabinet if elected. He doesn't have alternatives because no other MP's will serve in his cabinet (a fact that hasn't actually been discussed yet surprisingly)
So yes, what a wonderful world we live in Abbot could be home secretary come Friday
