Chanelle is an HONEST person. She's not afraid of confrontation so WHY would she lie? If she wasn't joking she would have said she wasn't. She wouldn't be so afraid Hannah and Raph and the public had been offended by her if she wasn't joking - because she wouldn't have said them in the first place if causing offence was what she was fearful of.
