I'd say spending the entire Series doggedly hating on one housemate and exaggerating their flaws to the point of the ridiculous instead of actually enjoying something/someone about the series has gotta' be much, much worse than actually fulfilling a dream by getting into the house and then thriving in there, being one of the few housemates who the other housemates have only had extremely positive things to say about after leaving, and going on to outlast all but one of your closest friends and allies in there.

Raph achieved a very well-deserved second place, and I am really pleased for him. He seemed genuinely happy with that in his interview, in which he convinced me for one that he had been there, as a BB fan, for the experience. Good on him!

There are certain housemates over the years who have been deserving of negativity. I don't think anyone can say that of Raph.

As has been the case all through BB,you have made brilliant posts.
This is another.

Runner up is an excellent result, the times on here where the runner up has even hailed more than the winner are endless.

Raph has as I said elsewhere been the one who was in the house the longest, he is the top male housemate this series and likely has been all series.
He is also runner up too.

Raph has aways indicated he wanted the BB experience,of course had he won, that would have been perfect.
For me anyway.

However to try to diminish being 2nd and calling it failure, then that means no matter who they were, all other housemates in all series were 'losers' too and anyone in 3rd doing even worse.

If medals were issued on BB,all these 3 Isabelle, Raph and Deborah would have got one.
That's not losers at all.

Congratulations to Raph, well deserved result and the only one this series to have gone all the way from day one to finish runner up.
In a series for all housemates that in my view has been one of,if not the hardest, with the endless twists on noms and evictions, to be able to survive to the final moments.

The guy did great, absolutely great.
The really best thing is he got to fulfil his dream of being on a BB series.
However he was also there from start to end too.
Well deserved for a great guy.

Well, it can't have been just us on here if he finished 2nd and had 22% of the vote. Well done Raph.

Lol.....all this negativity just comes across as sad and bitter now. If it wasn't so sad it would be hilarious....as it is its just sad. Personally, I wanted Issy in the end to win but Raph did great, lived his dream and came across well. At least he can always say that, people talking **** about him can only do that...talk ****

Much thanks Joey.

I'm not always positive about all the housemates but i always try to be as honest (with myself first and foremost) and fair as i can be (much like yourself) and never forget that i'm just a tiny piece of this forum that is meant to be, and for the most part is, an enjoyable place to be.

People can pretend all they want about how "great an achievement" it was to finish as the final loser! but a loser is a loser, and that's what Raph deservedly finished as. Had he not had such silly, biased support from here, he'd most likely have finished around 7th or 8th. In the end, the biased support could only push him to the final loser spot..as he was ultimately schooled by a latecomer who no doubt sat on a bag of tricks she didn't even need to open in order to see off such weak, transparent opposition..

People can also pretend that people give a ****....its over. No amount of bleating from sad people can detract from the fact that the series is done, raph did great and yeah he came 2nd...which as niamh said is better than most of his detractors said or thought he would. Get a grip and get over it.....maybe audition, go in and win it...have something real to talk about. Sad

looks like Raph fans are, shall we say, a little miffed that he did not win like perhaps they all expected?

He made it to the final, in arguably one of the tougher finals to make in BB history (due to twists and backdoor evictions).

The only people that are attempting to diminish that success are those that wrote him off weeks ago and claimed he wouldn't get anywhere near the final - let alone TOP BLOODY 2!!!
