I'm going to University in September and don't currently do the cooking in my household.
Do you have any easy recipes or meal ideas that might be useful? Also, nothing that requires overly expensive ingredients either as I'm going to be a poor student. Thanks |

Coconut snow bites
1. Whisk two eggs 2. Add 225 grams desiccated coconut and 150 grams caster sugar 3. Mix gently and leave to stand for 15-20 mins 4. With wet fingers (so they mush the mixture together) create little ball shapes and place them on a baking tray. 5. Bake at 180° for 25 minutes and leave to cool.

Super noodles
1. Buy your preferred flavour, I go for Steak Fajita. 2. Boil the Kettle with 300ml 3. Put the noodles in a microwave safe bowl 4. Pour the powdered seasoning over the noodles 5. Pour in the 300ml of boiling water 6. Place in a microwave for 3 minutes 7. Stir 8. Place in a microwave for a further 3 minutes 9. Stir again 10. They're ready, now eat them before they go cold. You might like to serve with a grating of cheese and chopped cherry tomatoes. |

Honestly, when I was living on my own I pretty much lived on potatoes. Be it boiled, fritters, chips, mash, whatever. So versatile
Obviously now with kids I have to mix it up a bit

Buy a cheap soup maker too if you like soup. You can literally blitz anything together and find what you enjoy.

I think I completely missed the point of the thread. Sorry storybrooke.
Pot noodles in a bagel is always good.

Omelettes are pretty easy. Just get a few eggs, crack and whisk them with some milk and add any vegetables you want to the mixture. I usually use onions, tomatoes, spinach etc. Sometimes do it with banana too and it's really nice. Put it in the microwave for a few minutes and it's done. Quick and simple.
