I don't understand why all these young women are disfiguring their lips. I've not seen one woman who looks good after having the lips done. It does make you wonder if there will be lasting harm over time.

Re the comment about us all being gorgeous and perfect, that's completely out of context. We're not talking here about someone's looks but about something they have paid to have done to their appearance which is actually detrimental. And it's a fast growing trend.

I don't think people should judge based on what people have chosen to do with their bodies but i do agree with you that it's sad that its a trend to change things about yourself. It doesn't cure the issue that people have of being uncomfortable with thinner lips, smaller boobs, etc. Instead it encourages others to feel the same way and want the same procedures. If less people had surgery or cosmetic procedures to change themselves then more people would learn to love the things they have instead of thinking "bigger lips, bigger boobs, bigger butt is better". I dont hate people for doing it though, i love trisha in the house and shes had a hell of a lot of surgeries and lip injections but i love her personality, so ultimately its someone's personality that makes their beauty. Jemma wouldn't be half as bad if she was less horrible to everyone. But she is ugly not because of her lips, but because of her personality in my opinion

It's not out of context at all. We all do things to our appearance. Get the hair done, wear make up, wear different clothes, get piercings.

The fact that she's done a lot of permanent stuff to herself is a shame but jesus the constant relentless remarking on it is just vicious and unkind.

That's not necessarily to do with you btw, just a general feeling throughout the whole forum, same with anyone who's overweight, disgusting comments are made.

these people are in the public eye, the newspapers, blogs etc pass similar comments every day. They are selling their souls for a scrap of fame, so they get what's coming to them. If someone is overweight or has ruined themselves with plastic surgery, we have a right to comment on it.

Her over use of botox and surgery have changed her for the worse, nobody is making comment on anything she was born with but what she has paid for to enhance and clearly a majority agree it was for the worse. Get off that high horse.

Where are the disgusting comments in the OP? all I and many others have stated is we feel she looked better before.

I didn't say the disgusting comments were in the OP. I said it's a consistent theme throughout this forum.

Certainly the beginning of the thread is fine, it quickly goes downhill from there with people who gain some kind of perverse pleasure in coming up with horrible comments.
