It's a great film, really well written, and you really think we would have moved forward from those times, which a lot of people have, but particularly with people like Trump who refuses to personally condemn these people (because he knows he counts on their support) and actually employs people with racist beliefs as some of his closest allies within the White House it gives the extreme right-wing groups a new found confidence in the belief that they have support at the top which only encourages things like the incidents in Charlottesville.
It needs to be nipped in the bud before things get even worse. Trump must be removed and it can't happen soon enough.

Kind of like how Obama refused to condemn the Black Lives Matter when they were openly advocating killing police officers?
