yeah she campaigned her ass off to the neckbeards on Reddit and they fell for her narrative about Dale RUINING her game so therefore she should get A Second Chance to show what she's got

Prepare yourself for a dreadful, horrifying, awful, horrendous, atrocious, abominable, frightful, fearful, hideous, gruesome, monstrous, sickening, heinous and vile jury speech that was adored by the general public

Reed was shooting to be Sue Hawk but he ended up being a Corinne Kaplan -- downright embarrassing.
And, like, I love Missy but I don't doubt she was a nightmare to live with because duh, Missy's entire appeal is being the biggest Fakey McFakerson imaginable. But "an eccentric person making demands of everyone for things to which they feel self-entitled to" really describes Reed just as much as it does Missy.

So I feel like this season didn't fully come into its own despite being strong in parts, whilst there's next to nothing to dislike about the season, and the cast is full of people who would... idk go in your top 50 players, it turned out very...middle of the road. I definitely prefer Blood vs Water and Cagayan, but this was still a solid season.
San Juan Del Sur: Natalie Jaclyn Missy Val Jon Baylor Jeremy Kelley Nadiya Julie Drew Dale Wes Alec Josh Keith Reed John One thing I must commend this season for is its editing. Making my cast ranking, I usually have like 2 or 3 castaways I have barely any opinion on due to lack of airtime, but this season, everyone got their fair share. Natalie was a really good winner - as soon as she took on John Rocker we all knew she was gonna be a queen. Reed just sucks so much? His jury speech cements how annoying and entitled he was in the game. He really did take himself too seriously. |

![]() Except Sue's was one of the most embarrassing ever. And the fact one of those speeches were basically started by her isn't a good thing either.

Worlds Apart is pretty grimy and uncomfortable and negative in a BBUK15 way rather than a BBUK6 way, but in its defense (?!? is this what Survivor has come to where I'm defending Worlds Apart) the drama and storylines were at least driven by characters rather than aimless strategy for strategy's sake.

I'd actually agree Worlds Apart is pretty grimy but it has decent drama. All in all I think it's sort of ok as a season and I'd call it "interesting" in good and bad ways (I think that's what I called it after I first watched and I still view it the same way. It can be easier to get through if you like some/any of the "bad people" (I put it in quotes just because this is the narrative people try to paint for a side they don't like all the time but it can be a fair argument in this case). If you hate most of the people, it might be more of a tough watch but yeah some drama is definitely there.

I mean, yes it's embarrassing in the sense that Sue was embarrassed at herself for finally letting another woman into her heart (in a platonic sense) and it was all for naught, and yes it would be even more embarrassing if someone pulled tried to pull that **** today in 2017 or 2018, but it was raw emotion and arguably the most iconic moment of all reality television and a huuuugely important piece of Survivor lore. Surely I don't need to explain this any further.

You don't need to because there's no further explaining how embarrassing it was.
