I don't think she's any worse than Sam who obviously has zero interest in Amelia and isn't dumping her (before they've even started - not even a bloody kiss!) on national TV so he doesn't get seen as Mr Bad Guy. There's WAY more chemistry with him and Jemma.

They've obviously either made an offer he's happy to accept, or they've been fighting it out. Whatever way, he was always going to cash in on it as he's been embarrassed in front of his mates and family and they've prob all been telling him to.
