Just going back to the OP, honestly, mistakes happen in retail all the time, people would be surprised how difficult it is for staff to keep on top of it all

I think if you'd been over charged a lot on something I'd agree, but when it's 29p on 5 garlic breads, imo it's just a bit sad to complain, get over it

One of the chippys over here doesn't take card so I never go there, so it clearly has a detrimental effect on their business

It's garlic bread not champagne, just to dezzy with your debit card answer, have you ever seen someone get to the till and their card won't work, because I have loads of times, plus I know two cafes and a kebab shop that only take cash.

Pretty sure most people given the choice would prefer the chance to protect their belongings than to leave them open to being stolen. How BIZARRE to think otherwise

I would think my money is safer at home than in my pocket though idk
Like if you keep your wallet somewhere logical and like dont tape it to the outside of your window then you don't have a problem unless you live in an area where you're being broken into everyday but in that case you would to take anything of value like an xbox or something with you

exactly

if your laptop, game consoles and that are safe at your house then your card/wallet will 100% be safe because laptops etc are most likely to get stolen than a wallet.
