Probably because STDs become more relevant as you get older

every year we had a presentation from our IT department about online safety and then the teachers were like "if you send a nude, you're a sex offender. you're a pedophile. you're distributing child porn" and most of the year felt sick and didn't touch themselves for like 2 weeks but we all went back to normal and sent nudes to each other

I fainted and fell back onto the desk behind me in RE in Year 11 (over some gory painting of Jesus) for a good few minutes and the girl sat behind thought I was asleep

Also felt faint during Sex Ed in Year 6 and walked into the wall in front of the whole class and fainted in Year 13 next to the toilets because of a documentary about a girl locked up all her life
