Loved this

I love films set in the 80's in general, it had Stranger Things vibes

The acting was amazing, cast was incredible and the film had so much heart and funny moments that I forgot it was horror, which I like because I don't like being sh*t scared. That being said, my only problem was that I was confused as a person who never read the book, about what Pennywise actually did with the kids. Despite him biting Georgie's arm off, I was under the impression that he was still alive as were all of the other missing children and were just in a floating state like Bev was (even though Pennywise attacked them, because Bill did say it wasn't real when it came to their fears, so it made it look like the children's deaths might not be real either) so I came out of it thinking "what happened to the floating children are they not being reunited with their families?") I also thought the bully killing his dad was strange and then him dying down the well not long after was a bit pointless? I loved Bev's bloody bathroom scene though, again a bit confused how her Dad couldn't see it because it wasn't imaginary seeing as they cleaned the bathroom up.
Looking forward to Chapter 2 (isn't that how Stranger Things title their episodes?) although reading on Wikipedia that it's set 27 years later when their adults was disappointing as I liked the child actors, and made me think that this would have been better suited as a TV series.
