Ian thinking there's nothing weird about Max Branning being his best mate and always hovering around Jane at the hospital.

They were hardly even friends before the Lucy plot, so why he's not questioning him being around now is a complete farce.

Even if they believed Max had forgiven them, there's no way they wouldn't be suspicious about him trying to be their best pal.

Jane not telling the nurses to not allow Max in was stupid, as was the police allowing him to sit there whilst they were questioning Jane.
