I assumed this would happen as all of Chibnall's episodes involve an ensemble cast, so I think that's what he works best with. Looking forward to it, but if it's anything like Class/Sarah-Jane Adventures then it may fall flat for me...

Did Chibbers write any SJA or Class episodes?

Now you mention it, Power of Three and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship are both ensembley! Apart from 42, I can't remember the other episode(/s) he wrote offhand? Was it the other Silurians story, because that was also ensembley haha

Yeah that one. His plots weren't always that strong but he wrote the characters brilliantly and gave them substance. His best is probably the Silurian story, but that worked well because the plot was fairly character-driven anyway.

Got to be honest here... Considering they're going for the "OMG first female doctor" thing... Is she not a bit androgenous?

Then again, all of the new era doctors bar Eccleston have been fairly gender neutral in terms of personality so maybe that's what they're going for, the idea that Time Lords are basically neither.
