I am just quoting from the article. If the US government has evidence to say this will help conservation then I can see why "they" would perhaps look at this. Everything is is not as simple as a headline in Africa

"Officials in Zimbabwe and Zambia". Well that's okay then. It's not like they can't be trusted.... I know they turned (and continue to turn) a blind eye to poaching and to the export of "trophies", but maybe they're telling the truth now.

Everyone should be able to hunt and kill a wild animal, so long as they do it like the native tribes. Send them out with a knife or a spear, if they kill an animal, they can keep it.
