is when they are sending demands for money,
I should have been moved onto a new tax code when I quit a job in August and still waiting, when I rang up I asked if she had notification that I had stopped working and she said yes we have the figures, so why do I need to ring up and wait for 40 minutes on the phone for you to do your job

I reckon they should pay us the same interest rate on any tax they owe us as what they would charge if we are late paying.
![]() So much form filling, unless you are prepared to wait until the next tax year for your rebate. |

I was on the flat 20% on all earnings emergency tax code for 8 full months in the job I had in my final Uni year. That was quite nice when I eventually managed to get it back.
It was a full 18 months later, though .
