Here in the UK we have 3 seasons a year: two celebrity and a civilian.

The first celebrity season airs in January and is the highest rated in terms of number of viewers. The second one is the civilian and airs in early summer and is the lowest rated. The third one is another celebrity season and airs in late summer and is the middle rated.

So the one in January always has more of a buzz about it.

Ah I see, I knew they were 3 a year but didn't know there was a consistent difference in the ratings. Great season to start with then.

Yeah just the basic format though. Like nominations aren't always sat in the DR and private but we still have them if you get me.

I do get you but the way they're done changes every round now and it's not as if the public vote is even a regular thing anymore. Since BB15 they've had regular housemate eviction votes etc.

I still prefer the BBUS format of the houseguests deciding everything (plus I like the idea of competitions like HOH & POV saving you if the rest of the house don't like you).. But I've warmed to this format, I like it as well.

This was me before this year but the opposite way round. I proper hated the US/Canada format but I love it just as much as the UK one now.

Although I will say the US/Canada formats mean the show can still be interesting with a dull cast whereas a UK season is awful with a dull cast.

It's split into another 20ish minute episode on youtube. And yeah the way it resumed felt like it was part of the same episode though.

Love this task where they're voting the most dull. The butthurt reactions are great.

Someone telling Jasmine that she changed her vote and her telling them to mind his/her business.

Oh daaaamn.. I'm pleased with Austin going, it would've been worse for literally anyone else to go, but that's a messed up way to have to leave.

Chloe seems like one of those I could see as a clown and find hilarious but as of now based on solely her intro video all I could think was "no go away"
