If this was an Uber, we need to know what the company is doing about vetting its drivers and doing checks, this seems to be a recurrent theme? not sure if that will be classed as company blaming

Just heard on the news that the Euro courts have decided they are a transport company (cab firm) and not a digital service.

and guess what, as a digital service (what they wanted) they would not have to provide all the proper security checks a cab firm has to..

Yes I heard that as well, it is good news, already there are challenges to this already, and that new rules should be changed for companies like Uber, so profit before personal safety seems to be what they are interested in.
