The Tesco I worked for was terrible when it came to food standards. Rotting fruit and veg was a regular occurrence because most workers wouldn't order them properly on the shelves and the storage facilities in the back were awful. The Tesco up the road is pretty good though. I'm guessing these turkeys came from a store or depot that had a similar attitude to the shop I worked in.

it would be down to where ever it was packaged wouldn't it, as if in date its up to the customer to find a date they are going to use it by, and it should be still eatable if still in date

stock control seems to be a issue in lots of supermarket with goods with shorter dates being pushed to the back, they need training

I hate Tesco as a shop anyway and never go there.
