Not the biggest fan of Abi the last year or so and agreed with writing her out for a while, but killing her off? Kind of pointless?

Like with R&R, it serves no purpose moving forward (is anyone at all interested in Max or Jack at this point?) and completely obliterates any future potential.

EE NEVER learns when it comes to deaths.

It feels like JWB has appeared like three times since he came back. What a crappy plot.

It's ironic that Max was the reason she was up on the roof, and Lauren was the reason she fell trying to save her since the both of them have caused her so much torment over the years. No wonder she turned out the way she did.

Ugh and actress wise, I preferred Lorna over Jacqueline.

And Lorna was the one we watched grow up onscreen. Ugh.

EastEnders hates its longtermers.

How fitting that Jake, Jo and Lacey all watched Lorna film her final scenes after watching her grow up <3

It's kind of tragic when most major characters who have departed are all in the ****ing cemetery.

Makes the show feel empty and lifeless (ba dum tsh).

Sometimes it's good to have them off screen, even if we don't see them for years like Our Z it's good that they're there and have the potential to return.

The new one. This entire plot was John Yorke's work. He was the one to axe them.

I think the only characters who should ever be killed off are the villains who are no longer redeemable or the characters who want a big exit when they choose to leave. R.

Pat died six years ago hun how long do you think SOC has been there?

Bryan Kirkwood (who has also made Hollyoaks pants for the last 5 years) was the one to kill Pat.

Killing the occasional major character is fine. EE tends to kill them all.

The only major characters that have left Walford not in a casket in years have been Kat and Alfie, Tanya and Zainab I believe?
