India Willoughby has revealed that she believes Rachel Johnson was the ‘architect of her misery’ during her short time in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The newsreader appeared on The Wright Stuff today after tweeting that she had been ‘played like a fiddle by a massive manipulator’ during her time in the house.

She said on the show that journalist Rachel Johnson was the person in question. Rachel is the sister of Boris Johnson daughter of last year’s I’m a Celebrity contestant Stanley Johnson – who also happened to be on the Wright Stuff panel today.

Awkward.

‘I think I do need to set the record straight and I’m sorry that Stanley is here because hes a lovely gentleman and I am a massive massive fan,’ India started the conversation with host Mark Wright, before turning to Stanley. ‘But the architect of my demise was sadly your daughter.’

‘Within an hour or so of actually being in the house I was being mis-gendered left, right and center. I started off politely just pointing out the reasons why that was inappropriate but it continued.’

She then went on to say that, when the show started and the men weren’t yet in the house, Ann Widdicombe decided she no longer wanted to sleep in the boy’s room and it was decided by the other housemates that India should take Ann’s place, as there were not enough beds in the women’s sleeping quarters.

‘There was this undercurrent which I felt from the start, and because of what Rachel was doing, the mis-gendering – and Ann – it marked me out as the runt of the litter.

‘Obviously if you’re constantly being questioned whether you’re “he” or “him”, then you are going to reaffirm your gender, you’re going to point out that’s not appropriate.’

India also alleged that she was ‘egged on’ by Rachel.

‘Rachel was saying, “Show me your bazookas”, she’s on camera doing that.

‘She was egging me on – “Are they real, can I have a look, can I have a touch”. Having told her repeatedly that I’m a woman, I’m a she, I just got tired of verbally doing it and I thought I’m just going to let my body speak for itself.

India explains why Andrew dressing in drag upset her

‘The well of potential goodwill in that house has been poisoned early on, and it’s difficult and maybe its only something as a person who’s transgender would understand.’

Mark also brought up India’s drag queen incident, in which she argued with housemate Andrew Brady about her phobia of drag queens, and again second-guessing whether her phobia was genuine or not.

‘I didn’t know the drag queens were going to be there on that day, but if I’m at an event on that day and the organiser says “Look we’d like to get some PR shots, can you go over there and have your picture taken with them”, I’m going to do it.’

I am so very glad I didn't watch the Wright stuff as I would have been so annoyed if they let her off the hook again.

Rachel was complimentary regarding her breasts and India had them out several times before and since.

MATHEW: Maybe you’re taking it too seriously?

INDIA: I don’t know, but in terms of the actual prancing around the room. Rachel was saying, “Show me your bazookas!” on camera, you know, egging me on. She was saying “Are they real? MATHEW: But there’s photos of you, online at Pride, with drag queens. So if your phobic surely you come out in hives and get sick?

INDIA: No, not at all. I’m sure there are people who don’t like clowns but depending on how a particular clown looks can be in that company and get by. But if I’m at an event by the organiser – I didn’t know the drag queens were going to be there – but if I’m at an event on that day and the organiser says, “Look we’re going to get some PR shots, go over there.” Then I’m going to do it.

MATHEW: Are you? Surely if your phobic you say “No I don’t want to.”

ANNE: That would get reported too though wouldn’t it?

INDIA: Yeah I don’t want to be difficult. I mean, I’ll explain it really quickly and succinctly – we just saw a shot there of ‘Betty Swallocks’ who came on and I’ve no issue with people who actually do drag, no concern. But having been through the transition process I knew that the following day after that clip was shown there would be someone in Britain who actually looks like Andrew who is transgender, who would be sitting on a bus, going to work, in a dress – bigger than me, hairier than me, broader than me who stands out more and having seen that, people in the office would maybe have been nudging and saying “Betty Swallocks” – so that is my problem with drag.

MATHEW: I get it. It can make like more difficult for people, it becomes a laugh?

INDIA: It becomes a laugh.

India's comments on drag queens, and traps who look like Betty Swollocks, do make sense and are understandable, it's just stupid, she had to call it a "phobia".

Yeah, I mean clearly both Ann and Amanda as elderly ladies were given/had agreed with BB that they would get beds to themselves which imo is fair enough. It makes India look really bad to try and steal a bed off an old lady no matter what kind of spin she tries to put on it

The bed thing is vile however she tries to sugar coat it.

Rachel did misgender her but it was in a conversation with Ann and someone else, not to India. She just slipped up and said he. It shouldn't be a big deal! Mr Jaxie sometimes calls me by his friend at works name and by my sons name. He gets there in the end. Bless. I haven't killed him for it yet.

Regarding the bed issue, she relayed that incorrectly as she said Ann was happy to go into the mens bedroom, but as we know that was only while the room was empty and it was because people had said they hated snoring, she never mentioned that she agreed to swop beds back when the men came in.

Yeah I don't think it was so much that Ann was happy to go as that Ann was sent by the others which I also thought was bad.

I thought Rachel was massaging her ego and trying to build her confidence. I didn't see anything malicious in what she was saying to India at all

I like India but she can't blame anyone but herself for her early exit. She made bad decisions her whole stay and alienated a lot of viewers with silly comments. I still think she was a better housemate than Jonny.
