No,she is not in favour of gay marriage,her Roman Catholic,strongly held views,do govern her thinking on aspects of gay issues.

She does have problems with the issue despite changes in the law.
That's why even I found it an unnecessary loose comment to enforce tonight.
Thankfully,for the gay communities,Ann and her thinking have lost the argument.

Anyway,she is still despite it compulsive viewing this series and she is getting my votes,when needed.

No matter what people may think of this bromance,which I find quite nice actually.

She KNOWS Shane J is gay, deliberately casting slurs on his sexuality and attraction to another guy,is purely and simply wrong.

Totally agree and if I were Ann in there I wouldn't want their fake romance shoved in my face every five minutes and they are only doing it to get a rise out of her so they can go off and bitch in the garden. Ann knew Shane and Andrew were goading her into a reaction,she shut them down dead in a few words, then walked away and i applaud her ,they both ended up looking like fools, all at the hands of OAP !!

..Ann is an interesting one for sure...I don’t feel her views on certain things are old fashioned as such, in it being an age thing...but more for her, her religious beliefs...I mean, she hasn’t shown any intolerance toward Shane J for instance for who he is and his sexuality...but when he was provoking her for a reaction as he was, she wasn’t comfortable with that...he wasn’t actually showing her respect because the whole thing was purposefully done to prod and he has been someone who has always so far shown great respect and understanding, rather than to actively seek a reaction...I find her interesting because of that blend of her time in parliament and the things she has opposed and been in favour of and how that fits in with her religious beliefs...I guess that many would think that politics and religion shouldn’t ‘mix’..that there is no place for religion and religious beliefs in politics...?...but then wouldn’t that be showing an intolerance and a discrimination against religious beliefs...so it all gets quite complicated...

...she wasn’t comfortable with Shane’s prodding and teasing but she’s been perfectly comfortable with him as a person so far as I can see...and even said, she would be proud of him as a grandson...there’s lots of things I guess that she hasn’t seemed comfortable with...like Ashley and Ginuwine and their more ‘public displays’...probaby another blend of her beliefs in terms of their single status and what she feels should be more private and the new that old..not before marriage thing...as I say she’s interesting because of her own life of very much being a working and independent lady...but then she’s a single as well and always has been...with marrieds and mothers etc... she tends to lean more toward supporting that ‘stay at home mum’...obviously this is all...(..her beliefs and views..)...going to cause a bit of controversy and confliction and those talking points, but I like her a lot as a person and in her character, regardless of anything else...


..one thing I’ve found quite interesting is how much empathy and understanding she’s shown with things like...her upset at the guys in physical pain with that task..and then with Daniel and her being in favour of keeping him over John because she felt his need for ‘validation’ with the public...that shows a real empathy...but then she’s right wing so how does that work because those are character traits that the left leaning are meant to be more associated with......she has a great blend to her character, I think...and is probably the most interesting housemate I’ve ever known...
