You are right,it is wrong to tolerate bigotry and homophobia.
It sends the wrong signals to the bigot and homophobe,that their view has foundation to it.

Lovely post from you,I am only 25 but I know the 70s too was not the easiest times for the gay communities and as to rights.

Thank you very much too for your response which is heartening. I am though appalled at the level of tolerance given to Ann along with all the excuses about age etc. It's shameful. Good to know though that there are still younger people like yourself who are more accepting.
