Tom Barber
BB18 - 4th Placed Finalist - 14 nominations

The people’s housemate... The winner of those 4 candidates... Those four people stood up there, Andrew, Simone, Sue and Tom. The second best choice was voted in. Should have been Sooo-zun.

Anyway, he did annoy the majority of us for just how messy that Tiny Tom was. But upon reflection, he was a good housemate and having watched back his best bits, as I do with all of these rankings if I can, I will say that he was... a hoot.

I think the minute when most of us turned on him was when he evicted Mandy over Imran. I think that most people will have voted Imran out, given recent circumstances. But we would have been more annoyed with him if he did evict Imran because what happens when one Javeed is evicted? The other follows them out the door! If Tom had been responsible for Sukhvinder’s exit back then... Don’t lie, you would have been pissed off and who would have got the blame? Tiny Tom!

So, to a degree, I feel bad for him because he seems like a decent bloke, although sometimes I think that if needed, he could be a bit selfish. Or throw other people under the bus to make himself look better. But he was a fun housemate to watch, in all due respect to Tom and that is why is as high as he is. I’m sure most of you would have him near the bottom. If Lotan hadn’t been ejected for being such a knob and if he lasted longer... Yeah, Tom would probably be in the Bottom 10. But Lotan’s removal brought out the best in Tam, I think. Props to the guy, he played a good game.

We start with a few of Kim’s Speidi quotes.

I remember hearing “Speidi’s back and we’re better than ever!” at the start of their VT, where in reality they should have said “Speidi’s back and ****ter than ever. Their VT made them out as if they were going to be the most exciting housemates ever to have entered. Admittedly when they originally did the show, they caused a lot of controversy and riled (or ryled

) a lot of people up to the point that everytime they were eligible to be nominated, they were nominated. There was 18 opportunities for them to be nominated by somebody in CBB11 and how many nominations did they get? 18! So, if this was their beginner’s round, what were they going to be like this time? Mildly irritating to others. is my answer.

Heidi stole all the “waters” (would that be water bottles, Austin?) leading to Austin labelling her as being psychotic. Spencer wouldn’t let Kim close the door, leading to a back-and-forth closing and opening match of persistence. Kim wouldn’t let Spencer enjoy his beans and his toast.

And back to nominations. They were nominated 3 times in Week 1, and I think that these were because of their reputation. James C nominated them in Week 2, because of their reputation. He also gave them a killer nomination following Chloe’s eviction, which Spencer was raging it and called him a “****ing piece of ****” and that he hadn’t seen a movie with him in it since the nineties.

What a disappointment of what could have been some very promising housemates.

Mandy Longworth
BB18 - 1st Evictee - 2 nominations? (kinda)

Writing up Mandy makes me feel angry about Tom but then I think that we should be angry at the voters for not saving Mandy. I was shocked to see Mandy in the bottom 2, as I don’t think that she was a background character. We heard about her sex tape and then she got Lotan and Arthur to give her an eviction striptease. She was shaping up to be a surprisingly interesting housemate! OK, so pretty much everything she spoke about was sex and Charlotte (not in the same conversation) but without sounding ageist, she is 51 years old and typical over 50’s housemates haven’t been like that. Unfortunately, she is only #26 because she lasted one working week but if she stayed, I’m sure she would have been fabulous.

James Jordan
CBB19 - 3rd Housemate Evicted - 4 nominations

CBB19 was the first series where I managed to convince one of my flatmates to watch with me! I won’t name them since they don’t know I’m on here. We’ll refer to him as Will. Will decided that he was going to watch it with me because of Jamie O’Hara, which looking back on it is not a good reason to watch something for the sole reason that he is on it.

So, we watched CBB on the sofa every night (don’t even think about it!) where I was enjoying watching Kim, Coleen and Stacy. Whereas, Will was watching it for Jamie, James J and Calum. As I quietly raged inside. However, he was also a Coleen stan!

So, James J turned out to be Will’s favourite housemate and he looked genuinely annoyed when he was evicted. But I was expecting James J to be as much of a cock as he was initially in CBB14.

I rank him higher because he was actually quite funny in CBB19 though. Particularly when he went fishing and ordered a McDonalds in the diary room. And I think he’s the first housemate to ever be proper shouted at by Big Brother!

Jessica Cunningham
CBB19 - 7th Housemate Evicted - 3 nominations

Jessica clearly wanted to win. And that is a good thing. I didn’t watch the apprentice until last year (Wow, has Andrew shocked us since then) but I was aware of Jessica and her hyperactivity. So I expected a wild housemate from Jessica. So, she maybe had her occasional outburst of AHHHHHH LETS GO CRAZY all the time but I think that is a good thing for business people to be like. Maybe don’t express this in important meetings...

She seems like a nice kid. Full of beans and got a huge heart. I hear she now runs a mother’s blog online and she is now expecting her fourth child! I wish her all the best!
