He did not challenge her on her views though. He went behind her back trying to turn everyone else against her, simply because he heard in his letter the whole LGBT role model stuff. If he genuinely cared about her views, he would challenge her on them directly, not try to set Wayne on her, then go round the HMs individually to try and turn them against her randomly.
I don't get how he suddenly has a problem now when this was all discussed earlier in the series in a very mature convo between the two and he specifically said that he disagreed with her views but it was her right to have them. Suddenly now, theres an issue.
