Because they are public figures and they are on TV.
And being gay might not be ALL you are but it’s a HUGE part! And I don’t mean you have to be out there in gay bars all the time or even at prides events or marches. You just have to be respectful of the people who do get involved. For YOU.
And as gay person you are going to stand there and defend the likes of Anne there I have a major problem with that.
