This takes me back to my college days where an offender from the local jail was on day release on our course.

He screamed human rights at us constantly as if it was applicable only to him.

My point is, we all have rights, if they conflict, work it out, don't gang up, don't harass and work together. If it is not possible, don't drag up old issues, hear each other, draw a line under them and move forward.
