In terms of overpopulation, definitely! Although it mentions Dinosaurs being generally too specialised to each of their environments being part of the problem, and humans sort of have the opposite problem: We are SO adaptable as a species, and even moreso with the help of technology, that we can now spread to almost every environment. The only ones we haven't "conquered" are Arctics, Deserts and living actually IN the oceans but even then, living in all of those areas is possible for humans using technology (just not very efficient). So human numbers will never go into decline naturally... we'll just keep multiplying until we completely wreck the planet. Ew.

They do say we will go forth like star trek and start to colonise other planets. There has been talking of the moon and more recently Mars more so now they think there is frozen water there.

I personally don't have faith that the human race will ever stop the warring and in-fighting for long enough to properly concentrate on "boldly going where no man has gone before"...

I think the theoretical level for everyone to be sustained properly in something like 10 billion. But then, of course, the sad reality is that most people will simply NOT be sustained properly, so it could probably go much higher, just with a lot of places in a bad way.

Poverty, lack of education and religion in countries mainly in Africa and Asia are to blame for their massive populations though imo
