Well, the MCU is rapidly approaching 20 movies deep, and the most recent - Thor Ragnarok - scores 8/10 IMDB, 92% critic rating, and has grossed $850 million global. Plus...

So we really have no measure of how long it takes for people to get sick of a franchise . Like some people will express being sick of superheroes / the MCU but the figures say it's here to stay for a good while yet . The same will be true of Star Wars. People will start saying they're sick of it, but it'll still hit box office home runs every year, and so will continue to be sold.
