Last time there was a craze for Beatrix Potter 50p's we had customers ask us to empty our cash draws to look through coins then be called names for saying sorry we can't open our tills crammed with hundreds of pounds to find you a mrs tigglewinkle coin

I always give out rare looking coins to nice customers just incase they're worth something, the rude ones can rot.

There was a woman I used to work with who annoyed the sh*t out of me in her desperation to find all the coins, as though she was going to be a millionaire.

I'd cash up on a night and she'd be ransacking all my 50p bags looking for them.

They do a myriad of other designs anyway. I doubt it's cost more than normal.

I never said that. I said they produce new designs on the back of the coins all of the time regardless of collectable sh*t like this.

I never said it's ok because everything is pointless. I said everything could be described as pointless. Especially when we personally have no use or interest.
