What he did was reckless and would be completely unforgivable if he had killed somebody even then I honestly think people out there would still be saying aww poor man we forgive him. People have a distorted view of the situation because of who he is and how popular the shows are. But remember if this had been a member of the public or even a celebrity who you don't like even with mental health and addiction problems you would still want justice to be done not them to be able to say sorry and then have them back on to prime time family tv on a Saturday night. I do think his career is now over
Sadly though we won't find out who actually is responsible for stealing the celebs in Saturday knight takeaway

I don't think anyone thinks he should get away with what he has done, if he is found guilty of drink driving or reckless driving he should get the punishment that any joe bloggs would get. He made a huge, downright foolish mistake and he will probably lose his career over it as well as the punishment served for the crime he committed. I wouldn't think he will get away with it because of who he is. I just think some people, myself included try to empathise because of the issues he has like addiction to alcohol and whatever else he has, some people still feel human compassion. We are hearing about this because of who he is , he is in the public eye and in the past he has won over the hearts of a lot of people and it's hard for people who loved him to see his decline. I sincerely hope he can beat his demons. He did the crime, he will be paying for the crime already before even any sentence I am sure.
