Prom weekend was the fun part not the actual prom, such a waste of money. I wouldn't suggest going to prom unless you really want it for the memories. But even then just skip it and do something with your friends/class that weekend instead.

Is it common in the UK for the whole grade to all go to / get hotel rooms at a certain location during the weekend of prom?
