Any retail worker who can't spot a fake note in seconds is incompetent in my opinion. I also facepalm at the use of those UV light machines / testing pens.

I have seen a lot of fake notes. I've never seen a convincing one... ever... If its not immediately obvious by sight (most of them are atrocious) then it's obvious as soon as you touch it.
