I read this yesterday, the whole story is so weird... Only made weirder by Chloe from Smallville being involved .

It doesn't sound like it was when she was on the show though, more like her career bombed afterwards and then she ended up getting caught up in this weird cult type thing?

That was Kristen Kreuk (who played Lana Lang), not Allison Mack.

Though I have just read that she was in the group too years ago, left in around 2013... But apparently, it was originally a legit "self help group", and didn't turn weird until 2015. Thought the article also says she cut off contact with Mack when she left so if you ask me, some dodgy stuff was probably starting to happen back then and she's decided to walk away and wash her hands of it rather than tell anyone .

Well, yes... When I say "that was Kristen Kreuk", I mean "who was in Smallville and Beauty and the Beast". Not that she was slutee. That seems like an unfair assessment.
