It's probably something to do with her only exposing herself as true scum in AS, but I can't believe I used to like Alicia in AO.
She was simply not nice in the argument with Kimmi. The whole time she's been so overly serious and condescending. |

Finished All-Stars and I'm still super undecided on how I felt about the season as a whole. On the one hand, it had what I'd consider to be some of my favourite moments of the series so far during my Survivor watch, such as Susan's meltdown, the Jerri vs. Colby Tribal Council (unbelievably tense), Shii Ann winning immunity, Shii Ann's speech before she was voted out and Amber winning over Rob (I was so convinced Rob had it in the bag.)
However, outside of these moments it was incredibly easy to predict who was the next to go. Nobody was willing to take a shot at Rob/Amber and it just felt as though once the merge had happened, the elimination order was set in stone. Also, was Shii Ann the first contestant to be robbed of the win twice? I think so.

Yeah All Stars was pretty boring and predictable tbh aside from at times around the beginning... and I love Boston Rob as a character and liked Amber on that season too.

Finished Vanuatu. A pretty forgettable season with a generally undesirable cast so I got through it quickly just so that I could get it out of the way.
I guess I'm glad that I'm going into these spoiler-free. Had I known for example that we'd end up with that final two, I probably would have been less enthusiastic. I was holding out for a Julie/Eliza win after John left. Eliza surprised me in the end after being truly unlikable for the best part of the first half.  But yeah, I think this season just lacked a memorable cast and a defining moment. They tried pushing the Twila swearing on her son fiasco as one of the show's biggest moments but I thought that was pretty tame to be honest.Not sure when I'll get around to the next season, but I'm hoping it's a good one. I need somebody to root for!

I find this show entertaining and everything but what's always on my mind is how it works with all the cameramen around? Surely it's hard, unlike Big Brother, to not feel self-aware when you've literally got an entire crew shoving a camera in your face. Whenever a big drama happens I always imagine the cameramen going "OK, you can go off on this person but please wait a while so we can get a good shot of it."

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Survivor is a completely scripted show tbh but I try to just not think about it so it's more fun. But yeah they definitely at least have some filming issues/difficulties to say the least
