The subject is definitely similar to the plotline of the movie, and to be honest, if it were a random new member who started the topic, I'd be inclined to say it was related to the film, but Enid has been a member here for some time and posts all over the place in various topics, so I'm thinking you would be wrong Graeme.

i think the "push the button" replies tend to be from younger folks who have less dependants, responsibility and have less familiarity with death/mortality?

absolutely! everything revolves around your kids and making sure they're safe so I think most parents would think about the fact that they would be killing someones baby in that situation

I can see why people with kids would NOT press the button. I probs would'nt if I had children. However it is the 10,000 chance thing that got to me so I kind of thought... might as well take the risk? It all depends really on atmosphere, where and when would this "red button" thing happen.

You either have to be incredibly immature to make a comment like that or you have psychological problems and are a potential murderer. That is what it boils down to.
