All of my pcs and laptops are acers and they are all ok apart from the one that messed up yesterday but if they are going to charge me for a repair when its still under warranty I wont ever be buying from them again.

Maybe one of the pins in your monitor cable broke? that could have made it turn green.

Try replacing the cable or even just removing it then reconnecting it.

My screen broke, didn't go green though niamh, it just flickers

I took it apart to try and fix it but it wont go back together now *facepalm*

Thanks Josy, it's back to normal again! One of the cables with the twisty screwy things had gotten loose, I tightened them up and it's fine now

Make your PC as a "Safe Computer" or whatever Hotmail calls it ASAP.


Account will probably be blocked soon due to spam and the password reset email to your alternative email doesn't always work straight away. This way you would at least still have access to it.

Hotmail if theyve blocked it will let you get it back if you get them your number
