Could you imagine any of your teachers going on the national news for an interview to preach this crap?

It's speculation on my part of course, but it wouldn't shock me.

Jumping Jillickers, you mean people need medical approval before taking medication?
It's not like cross-sex hormones are treatment for headaches, they have implications for the whole body, and can cause various cancers, along with heart attacks and strokes. So of course there should be multiple levels of approval before someone is given unnecessary medication.

Liam do you realise whether you're 25 or 99 you need medical consultation and checks before jumping ahead , anyone giving the green light for medication and surgeries instantly ...are clearly only thinking about money or they're not qualified enough.
Or they've probably been pressured into rushing through with it,as usually they get guilt tripped into the whole gender identity politics and people's feelings. Even though there's people out there still waiting for cancer treatments. When it comes to someone's physical and mental health, you can't mess around with it . There are women out there who have been refused hysterectomies aswell as other procedures ....due to health issues or other factors, aswell as still waiting for life saving surgeries. But yet some people think it's perfectly fine to have gender reassignment straight away? . Bear in mind things can go wrong ,and like anything medical...there are serious risks to be taken into account and it shouldn't be taken lightly. |

Yup. If more states/countries had such sensible "gatekeeping" ere the issue of transition HRT, there'd be a lot less detransitioners.
For some, this would be good because it doesn't damage "the brand" of trans; and for those with empathy, it would mean fewer people going through unnecessary and damaging medication.

Yep
And irreversible! , Despite the lies that they keep saying about medication being 'reversible" . If someone starts taking testosterone or oestrogen or has anything else done ,the effects will change their bodies and get into their bloodstream. There's no going back. Every detransioner's story I've heard... usually they're permanently stuck with the changes and seem very unhappy, and have suffered with medical problems . |

As regards this topic a very knowledgeable friend of ours said that many of ‘bodily changes’ are indeed reversible BUT alarmingly nothing brain related is reversible !! Frightening Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

BBC News Text:
[Staff at the Equalities Watchdog, the Equality and Human Rights Commission, have been accused of trying to oust chairwoman Baroness Falkner over her stance on transgender issues. The paper says a dossier of more than 40 complaints against the peer has been compiled but that some within the organisation think she is being targeted because she "backed legal reforms guarding the right of biological women in single-sex space such as hospital wards and toilets".] ![]() [Baroness Falkner] ![]() Last edited by arista; 23-05-2023 at 06:14 AM. |
