Watchmen - It was unusual, still haven't decided if I liked it or not

Super 8 - pretty good for a kids movie

Super 8 - I think it was a bit foolish to try and aim for 3 different types of audiences - kids, family and sci-fi fans - and I think it will have succeeded in the first two. But the alien and the story behind it I think were left too vague and I wasn't really moved by

However, it was very funny, moving and there were plenty of action scenes to keep you entertained. I'd say it was 9/10 for a family film. Very 'Stand by Me' meets 'E.T.'

Yeah I agree, I got very teary through it too, which is a bit strange for me

Good plot line, poor execution. Some good acting though by most of the cast, but there was just so much random crap in it and it was just generally quite poor.

House of Wax - 7/10. A lot better than expected considering Paris Hilton is in it.

Untraceable - 8/10. Not the best thriller I've seen but the ending literally kept me on the edge of my seat. Diane Lane was excellent.

Doghouse - 8/10. A bit sexist and misogynistic towards women but not surprising when they are man-hating feminist cannibals. Danny Dyer always plays a bit of a dickhead but it was hilarious.

Mean Streets - normally love Scorcese's films but this wasn't that great, it was still a decent film but I just feel like I've sat there for 2 hours and nothing has really happened, the plot didn't really seem to follow any direction at all with several random events which looked like they might be significant but nothing ever followed on from them. It was a weird film really, maybe I just didn't properly get it or something but it was just generally bit boring

Cold Mountain - Not a bad film for what it was usually hate these sort of films the story wasn't all that interesting but the Characters made it worth watching the ending of the film is pretty obvious though 7/10

Yeah pretty much nothing at all happens until the last 15 minutes. Good film but not worth watching more than once

That fight scene in the pub is pretty epic though
